Outreach

Let’s reach out together to impact our friends, family, community, and world. VCC is committed to advancing the Gospel and serving God’s people. Therefore, we give away 10% of our general offering to advance the Kingdom of God in the world. Want to support a mission directly or plug into a service opportunity? MARC – Aaron & Maila Stocks

Aaron and Maila serve with Missionary Aviation Repair Center in Soldotna, Alaska. MARC is an aviation support ministry, working to expand the reach of the Gospel in Alaska by flying people and supplies where there are no roads, supporting other missionaries and their aircraft, and training missionary-minded pilots and mechanics.

Aaron’s primary roles are as an aircraft mechanic and flight instructor. The maintenance helps ensure that our aircraft, and those of remote missionaries continue to operate safely and efficiently. As a flight instructor, Aaron gets the opportunity to help train those missionaries who are also pilots to operate their aircraft well and develop sound decision making skills to safely fly in the challenging terrain and weather of bush Alaska. Maila is kept very busy teaching and rearing their 4 young children, Josephine, Charis, Evelyn, & Benjamin.

Abdi and Laura Mahmoud

Abdi, Laura and their 3 children serve in East Africa among a group of 7 ethnic peoples who have very little access to the Gospel. Their heart is to see God glorified in their town by sharing the Good News, discipling new believers, and forming local churches among these 7 unreached peoples. They currently use the platform of a non governmental organization to connect with the community through a library and coffee shop which host various programs like literacy and computer classes, kids activities, substance abuse counseling and more. For more information send an email to abdiandlaura@gmail.com.

Emily Dimmick

Emily is serving in West Michigan with Protect Life Michigan as a pro-life college missionary. She works with Calvin University, Ferris State University, and other local colleges to train students in pro-life apologetics and lead them in outreach, both on campus and in the community. The mission of Protect Life Michigan is to raise up a generation of pro-life leaders who seek to serve boldly and sacrificially, and the college campus is the perfect field for this harvest. The pro-life students are eager to learn and put into practice their apologetics, and the abortion-minded students need the ministry of the Gospel and pro-life messages.
